For dancers

Barre to Barbell

Building dancers to perform like athletes. Corrective exercise, strength training, and mobility programmed around rehearsal — so training supports the work instead of competing with it.

Strength training for dancers

Why it exists

Dance asks for range. It rarely gives you strength.

Years of training build extraordinary mobility and control, and a set of predictable imbalances underneath it. The answer isn't a generic lifting program bolted onto a full rehearsal week — that just adds fatigue where you can least afford it.

This program treats you as an athlete with a competition season. Strength work is scheduled around what your body is already being asked to do, corrective work addresses what dance builds in, and recovery is written into the plan rather than left to chance.
